A perfect diaper bag would have pockets for holding items both inside the main compartment and along the outside of the bag. Organization of your bag is crucial for knowing when you are out of something. You do not need to find this out while you are out with your baby.

Mommy SpaceSome diaper bags now have a section that doubles as a purse for mommy. With places for credit cards, money, and cell phones, you can leave the house with one bag instead of two bags. But keep in mind safety before you do this route. You will need to keep a closer eye on your diaper bag if your identification and money are inside. It might be easier and safer to use a fanny pack for your valuables.
